When all your hard work pays off and your garden starts looking as good outside as it did in your head, it’s time to add the finishing touches. You know what it’s like when you get dressed up to go out, adding the perfect jewelry finishes the outfit. Your garden benefits the same way when you add the right garden statues ornaments. While all statues are ornamental, not all of them carry that little bit of bling that adds sparkle to a sunny day. If your flowers didn’t get quite as big as you wanted, adding extra ornaments gives your eye something to focus on that sparkles.
For example, consider Victorian styled gazing globes. Placed at the right spot in a garden corner, silver ones show you what’s around the bend. It seems to enlarge a small garden by extending your line of sight. If you have a place that is predominantly green (grass, hedge, etc.) a gazing ball gives it a lift. Have you seen little statues with gazing globes in their hands? They help to focus attention on a statue that might otherwise be overlooked.
Another way to add bling to your landscape is with copper windchimes. The gentlest wind sets them in motion while the copper is bright enough to catch your attention without blinding you. At the same time, the sound they make quiets your mind. They add a lot of accent with a minimal investment.
That’s the most important point I want to make. It doesn’t take a lot of money to accent your garden but it will polish off all the hard work you have put into it. In fact, having multiple garden ornaments make it easy to change the mood of your garden. You can easily go from Christmas to Easter to Independance Day by making a few simple changes.
The GardenStatueShop.comhas some interesting gazing globes including a cute little cherub holding one in his lap. Visit and you will see why I think they are so special.
