If you really love your garden, you spend a lot of time there. Adding garden dog statues to your favorite spot is like adding a new family pet without having to clean up after it. In addition to that, adding more than one statue to an area can often look cluttered but pet statues are an exception to that rule. That’s because we are used to seeing multiple pets together and it looks natural to us.
If someone mentions thinking about a dog to a group of people, most of them will think of different kinds of dogs. Large or small, we all have our favorite breed. Choosing a pet is always an emotional experience and the right garden dog statues can bring those happy feelings into your garden setting. May be your favorite pet was a childhood dog. Wouldn’t you like to have his likeness sitting on your porch? This time you don’t have to feed or walk him.
I used to breed dogs for the American show ring. I loved my puppies and started training them to come as soon as they could run to their food dish. As they got older they learned leash work and how to pose for the show ring. That was on top of their general care and it was a lot of work. Most of the show dog owners I knew were really concerned about improving their breeds. That’s not something you lose when you stop showing.
Today I live in town and it’s not practical for me to have a dog. It’s a different lifestyle and even though it’s a statue, I still like looking out the window and seeing a dog. That’s why dog statues make good gifts for people like me. If you know someone who isn’t as active as they used to be, why not consider it the next time you are looking for a present they will really like?
Don’t forget to visit our Outdoor Dog Garden Statues. It’s fun to look through them whether or not you want to buy one. Who knows, maybe there’s a copy of your best friend waiting for you to discover it.
